Responsibilities and Tasks - Focus on using AI to accelerate projects
IMPLEMENT AND MAINTAIN DATA DRIVEN DECISION MAKING PROCESSES.

• Promote a data driven culture.
• Provide quality data solutions that create business value and enable the NVEG PE to meet strategic objectives.
• Create metrics to gauge projects, data quality, and data solutions success.
• Create and manage metrics dashboards and strategy.
• Develop evaluation tools to measure and monitor metrics effectiveness.
• Collaborate with others to identify, clarify, and capture internal customer requirements.
• Develop metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and indicators that have correlation to the on time delivery and inventory of our products.
• Work with manufacturing IT and other functional areas on developing strategic business processes with clear and agreed upon business rules for each assignment.

COLLECT, ORGANIZE, AUTOMATE AND PREPARE DATA FOR ANALYSIS.

• Work with various volumes of data from multiple disparate sources.
• Perform data analysis and mining to help generate solutions to business problems.
• Ensure processes taken to maintain data integrity.
• Understand available data what data is relevant.
• Manage and optimize data discovery and cleansing.
• Collaborate with data architects (e.g. IS engineers, BI engineers, DBAs) to ensure that data needed is available.
• Develop and automate jobs for various volumes of data and reports.
• Identify new data sources in the network that will create new insights to business needs.

CREATE DATA ANALYTICS SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND VALUE.

• Maintain an understanding of company and department strategies and goals.
• Understand the business objectives to develop and establish success criteria metrics.
• Translate business problems into projects and solutions.
• Understand business processes (data sources and meaning).
• Explore relevant data through visualization and statistical methods.
• Conduct and participate in analysis, design, statistical/model algorithm review, code review, and testing sessions.
• Participate with end users in integration and user acceptance testing of data collection forms and analytics solutions.
• Create quality solutions and continuously focus on quality improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data from your solutions.
• Enable data driven quality improvements to minimize support requirements.
• Develop timely solutions to STPG PE issues and provide appropriate levels of communication to stakeholders and customers.
• Write, code, test, and analyze data solutions, applications and automation.
• Train customers on using your data solutions and coach/mentor them on data driven decision making.
• Demonstrate the functional and technical skills necessary to switch between various software, analysis and development technologies/frameworks, and merge them to provide the best solution.
• Utilize best practices to enable high quality data solutions.

PROVIDE COMMUNICATIONS.

• Maintain a strong relationship with peer groups and managers in other functional areas.
• Provide periodic updates based on project criticality.
• Offer and communicate strategic ideas and thinking to meeting objectives.
• Build and maintain external and internal relationships to broaden influence and increase learning opportunities.
• Listen to customers and stakeholders input and feedback, and act to maximize benefit to Micron to meet corporate goals.
• Keep stakeholders and team members informed on project status, progress, roadblocks, and opportunities.

Education
Required
Bachelors Degree:

• Computer Science/Engineering
• Statistics
• Engineering (include industrial/operation engineer)

Experience
Required

• 2 years experience of Industry Experience preferred
• Strong initiative to find AI Solutions on resolving issues.

Skillset

• Possess strong analytical, mathematical, problem solving skills.
• Capable of extracting data from any source.
• Proficient in at least one of Claude Code, Advance Co-Pilot,Gemini , Java, Python, NumPy, Perl, C/C++, Visual Basic, SQL, JMP, Machine/Statistical Learning, Tableau, Confluence, Sharepoint etc.
• Familiar with UNIX/Linux, subversion, agile development methods.
• Familiar with basic statistics (understand mean, sigma, p value, anova, regression, data mining concept, SPC, etc.
• Passion for data analysis and delivering data solutions/automation to help others make faster data driven decisions.
• Able to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
• Active team participation, demonstrated teamwork, and consensus building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment a plus.
