Wilhelmsen Port Services is looking for a Data & Analytics Architect to lead the development and governance of our data, analytics, and business intelligence landscape globally. This role will be responsible for ensuring that data assets, master data models, and analytics capabilities are aligned with business needs and the overall Enterprise Architecture strategy.

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications, you will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, application teams, and enterprise architects to drive data governance, reporting capabilities, automation initiatives, and data-driven decision making across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesData Architecture & Governance
  • Own and maintain roadmaps for master data objects and data models across Port Services applications.

  • Establish and maintain data governance standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and lifecycle management across systems.

  • Support compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.

Analytics & Business Intelligence
  • Define and maintain the Analytics and Business Intelligence strategy for Port Services.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize and manage the BI backlog.

  • Deliver reporting and analytics solutions that support operational and strategic business objectives.

  • Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Work with process owners to document and implement improvement initiatives.

  • Support digital transformation projects through data and analytics solutions.

Enterprise Architecture & Stakeholder Management
  • Contribute to technology strategy and enterprise architecture planning.

  • Participate in solution design, technical planning, and architecture reviews.

  • Gather and translate business requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or related disciplines.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, master data management, and data lifecycle processes.

  • Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide analytics and BI strategies.

  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR.

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment.

  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams and methodologies.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
