In this role, you will drive the adoption and continuous evolution of the Enterprise Data Governance function in PACS. Reporting to the Data Governance Lead, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to embed sustainable governance practices across the organisation and its key data management capabilities including data privacy, data quality, and emerging AI governance initiatives to strengthen PACS’s oversight across the full data lifecycle.Responsibilities:
Data Governance & Quality
- Contribute to the development, enhancement, and communication of data governance policies, standards, and processes across PACS.
- Support the identification, assignment, and engagement of data owners and data stewards for our Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and their ongoing attestation.
- Maintain accurate business and technical data definitions and end‑to‑end data lineage in the data catalog, ensuring both remain current, complete, and aligned with governance and control requirements.
- Conduct training and engagement sessions to uplift organisational data governance capability and champion the message that everyone plays a role in responsible data management.
- Contribute to the design and operationalization of data quality rules and support ongoing monitoring and issue remediation with data owners and stewards.
- Partner with technology teams to embed governance into data flows and solution architecture while ensuring requirements are practical, feasible, and aligned with system design.
Data Privacy, Retention & Lifecycle Controls
- Support data privacy operations and the implementation of data retention capabilities while working with Line 2 Technology Risk to ensure privacy and retention controls remain compliant.
AI Governance
- Assist with AI governance activities, including use‑case documentation, risk assessments, inventory maintenance, and model ownership tracking to enable responsible and compliant AI use.

- Experience working across end‑to‑end business processes in diverse organisations.
Professional Qualifications
- Knowledge of data governance principles, tools, and emerging best practices.
- Familiarity with data reporting, metadata practices, and governance workflows.
- While deep data architecture expertise isn’t required, a general grasp of cloud platforms and data pipeline concepts will help support collaboration with Tech teams.
- Hands‑on experience with Informatica IDMC, especially DQ rule creation, is preferred.
Education
- Degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related discipline.
