This is your opportunity to sit at the intersection of macroeconomics, client strategy, and markets execution. You'll build deep client relationships while originating foreign exchange and interest rate solutions that solve real hedging, investment, and balance-sheet challenges. Joining this team means working alongside Trading, Structuring, and Research professionals who are shaping how clients navigate volatile markets. As an Associate/Vice President in Macro Solutions Sales, you will originate and execute tailored foreign exchange and interest rate solutions that address client hedging, investment, and balance-sheet management needs. You'll work closely with Trading, Structuring, Research, and relationship coverage teams to translate macroeconomic developments into actionable client ideas. This role gives you the chance to deepen client relationships, sharpen your technical and commercial skills, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth. You'll operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your ideas directly influence client outcomes and firm performance. We're looking for someone who thrives on turning complex market dynamics into clear, compelling client solutions.

Job responsibilities

  • Build client relationships by understanding business models, exposures, investment objectives, and risk-management needs.

  • Originate mandate-relevant foreign exchange and interest rate solutions spanning hedging, yield enhancement, funding, and asset-liability management.

  • Manage account plans and pipelines while coordinating coverage and cross-selling to deliver revenue and client-development objectives.

  • Translate macroeconomic developments, central bank policy, and market moves into timely, actionable client ideas.

  • Partner with Trading and Structuring teams to develop solutions reflecting client objectives, risk appetite, and execution constraints.

  • Present clear, fair proposals covering rationale, indicative pricing, payoffs, scenarios, and risks.

  • Coordinate timely pricing and end-to-end execution, securing approvals and meeting onboarding, credit, documentation, and suitability requirements.

  • Coordinate booking and settlement while supporting valuations, restructurings, unwinds, and maturities.

  • Maintain accurate client and transaction records in line with firm standards.

  • Collaborate with Trading, Structuring, Research, Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams within the firm's control framework.

  • Improve sales processes, client materials, analytics, and transaction workflows.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Relevant experience in financial markets sales, structuring, or a closely related client-facing markets role.

  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange and interest rate products, including forwards, swaps, and options.

  • Sound understanding of macroeconomic developments, monetary policy, and the drivers of currency and interest rate markets.

  • Ability to identify client needs and translate technical product concepts into clear, commercially relevant proposals.

  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.

  • Disciplined approach to execution, documentation, and risk management with close attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams in a fast-moving markets environment.

  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience covering clients in the role's designated markets or client segments.

  • Familiarity with structured derivatives, options-based strategies, and cross-currency solutions.

  • Understanding of client treasury considerations, including funding, liquidity, asset-liability management, collateral, and hedge-accounting implications.

  • Demonstrated track record of originating transactions, developing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth.

  • Experience using analytical or automation tools to support idea generation, scenario analysis, and sales productivity.

  • Relevant professional qualifications and regulatory certifications, where applicable.
