Introduction to the job

The CS Site Manager is a key management role responsible for leading the establishment of ASML’s first site in India and building an organization that can support the customer’s increasing operational needs from start-up through ramp-up. This role oversees operational and technical readiness, supports new product introductions, and ensures stable daily operations through a skilled, motivated, and sustainable team. The position holds full accountability for site operational performance, including service delivery, installed base performance, safety, customer satisfaction, and agreed operational KPIs. Close collaboration is required with local and global account teams, internal ASML functions, external suppliers, and customer stakeholders to ensure aligned execution, operational excellence, and long-term customer support success.

Functional competency

  • Site operation and direction: Develop short- and long-term operational plans for site establishment, ramp-up, service delivery, and future growth, while driving continuous improvement and readiness for new product introductions.

  • Customer relationship and site performance: Build strong customer relationships, capture the voice of the customer, align on service expectations, and deliver operational excellence against service levels and KPIs.

  • Business and commercial sense: Manage cost, quality, commitments, and operational priorities while balancing customer expectations and ASML business objectives.

  • Organization development: Build a high-performing and diverse team through workforce planning, performance management, coaching, succession planning, and capability development.

  • Stakeholder alignment and execution: Integrate and synchronize site operations across internal functions, regional teams, external suppliers, and account teams, while managing escalations and ensuring safe, effective execution.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry; multinational company experience preferred.

  • Proven senior management experience in leading site operations, including greenfield or start-up environments.

  • Experience in customer service field operations preferred.

  • Strong capability in establishing strategic customer relationships and managing complex stakeholder environments.

  • General project management expertise required.

Working location: India office / customer site (Gujarat, Dholera).
