About the Role

This position is part of our Finance team and a key member to oversee Credit Management for Consumer Audio Asia-Pacific. The primary responsibility is to manage the company’s credit control and accounts receivable processes. This role supports the month end close, forecast and budget process besides other ad-hoc duties relating to the above when needed.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the entire Credit Management for the APAC region
  • Manage and evaluate customers’ credit worthiness
  • Improve growth of region through improving cycle times like DSO and cash collections
  • Build good relationship and rapport with customers and provide good cross communication among stakeholders from internal to external stakeholders
  • Manage timely & accurate collections knock-off with customers and Global Shared Service Centre (GSSC)
  • Manage the various customers’ rebates scheme
  • Support month-end closing, forecasting and budgeting requirements as and when required.
  • Support the E-commerce reporting
  • SAP S4 Hana project implementation
  • Support ad hoc duties as and when assigned

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is a must.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Credit Control and month end closing
  • Resilient, assertive in communication with customers and stakeholders
  • Well organised, independent and a team player.
  • Proficient in using SAP is a must.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries.
  • Ability to recognize financial implications of business decisions and strategy.
  • Talent and aptitude to analyse and solve problems independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
