Job responsibilities
- Manage new and existing credit facilities for loan transactions across multiple business lines
- Set up limits in credit (iCRD) and loan systems (Loan IQ)
- Review credit proposals to ensure compliance with facility documentation
- Establish effective partnerships with the Credit team and other stakeholders
- Maintain quality measures and data to meet client service standards
- Monitor and adhere to credit policy developments, escalating queries as needed
- Own, resolve, and escalate exceptions, manage KPIs, and facilitate credit monitoring
- Maintain a robust control environment and follow best practices to prevent control breaches
- Participate in team, regional, and global projects to drive efficiency and streamline processes
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of all credit administration tasks
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in credit administration
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to propose effective solutions
- Initiative to escalate issues to appropriate parties
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to deliver dependable, timely, and accurate support
- Flexibility and willingness to accept new assignments in a changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and control-oriented mindset
- Effective time management and planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of Loan IQ system
- Experience with facility documentation
- Sound understanding of credit products, policies, and systems
- Experience supporting cross-business credit facilities
- Exposure to global banking operations
- Experience participating in efficiency and control improvement projects
