Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Assisting in writing copy (long and short form), headlines, and taglines under the guidance of senior copywriters.
- Learning to review and adapt copy for various brand communications across print, digital, and content, with a focus on effectiveness and compelling storytelling.
- Contributing to the production of creative work for different media, gaining exposure to quality standards and volume expectations.
- Actively developing conceptual thinking and learning the principles of great writing through observation and hands-on tasks.
- Assisting with copywriting requests and responding promptly under supervision.
- Developing an understanding of client brands and their unique communication needs.
- Learning to maintain consistency in brand tone of voice across various media formats.
- Striving to deliver work of a high creative standard, with a focus on continuous improvement and feedback integration.
- Eager to learn from and support team members, absorbing knowledge from their technical and professional experiences.
Requirements:
- A deep passion for writing and advertising, eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced agency environment.
- Demonstrated interest in creative writing across various media (e.g., personal projects, school publications, blogs, or previous internships). Show us what you've got in your portfolio, even if it's speculative work.
- An aspiring conceptual thinker with a curiosity for big ideas, who also understands and respects the importance of meticulous detail, right down to punctuation.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the development of presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional, and collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
