About the role

Come play a part in shaping the future of digital insurance. The corporate strategy team at Igloo charts the growth journey that Igloo will be taking in the coming months and years. The team identifies organic growth opportunities, formulates inorganic growth strategies, and resolves the biggest challenges that Igloo faces.

Igloo is now accepting applicants for the corporate strategy internship. The internship will last for 3 months with possible further extension should the fit be suitable. The role will be focused on defining Igloo’s strategic direction in a few mission-critical business lines and markets. The role will work directly with Igloo’s director of corporate strategy who is an ex-MBB consultant.

The ideal candidate would be:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time university degree or about to be enrolled into one
  • Interested in working in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen on learning more about the intersections between the startup world, the fintech industry, and the corporate strategy space
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to establish structure through uncertainty
  • Adept at both quantitative and qualitative analyses - and able to deliver insight from such analyses
  • Able to work independently and find creative solutions to seemingly intractable challenges

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics or a related field
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsible
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow through on tasks
  • Available to commit for a minimum of 2 months
  • Proficiency in Thai is a strong advantage due to the business's market focus
