About this role
We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on, and curious Corporate Development Intern to support our journey toward becoming a leading SaaS scale-up beyond Asia.
In this role, you will get a front-row seat to the strategic decisions shaping our future. You will assist the leadership team in executing growth strategies, evaluating market opportunities, and supporting key transactions that enhance our market position. This is a group-level internship based in Singapore, offering deep exposure to the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) sector and the regional startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Support:
Market Research: Conduct deep-dive research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential acquisition targets.
Due Diligence: Assist in the end-to-end M&A process by organizing data rooms and coordinating with cross-functional teams (Product, Legal, Finance)
Financial Benchmarking: Support the team in tracking valuation multiples and performance metrics of comparable companies.
Fundraising & Investor Relations:
Material Preparation: Help draft high-impact investment materials, including pitch decks, investor memos, and business plans.
Financial Modeling: Assist in building and maintaining financial models to support valuation exercises and fundraising strategies.
Investor CRM: Support the management of relationships with private equity, venture capital, and strategic investors by tracking engagements and preparing meeting briefs.
Ideal Profile
Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Analytical Rigor: A strong grasp of financial statements and basic valuation methodologies (DCF, Trading Comps).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google sheets / Microsoft Excel (can you build a clean spreadsheet?), Google slides / PowerPoint (can you tell a story through slides?)
The "Start-up" Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments, aren't afraid of ambiguity, and possess a "no task is too small" attitude. You are independent and able to guide your learning and tasks when given a direction.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time internship for at least 3–6 months is preferred.
