Overview of Role
- Reporting to the Contracts Manager - APAC, this individual will be part of a team that provides trade support to our Oil and Gas Operations Groups.
Main Responsibilities
- Checking and validating deals against Gunvor’s ETRM System for consistency
- Ensuring deals in ETRM system are updated timely and accurately to reflect any changes to the deals
- Preparing of draft contracts for Crude and/or products for traders and operators’ review
- Sending out contracts after approval
- Uploading contracts and all counters/amendments to ETRM System
- Updating master templates, when necessary
- Reviewing and countering of contracts from counterparties
- Updating contract Excel worksheet/report
- Preparation of tender offers, when required
- Liaising with inter-departments on issues pertaining to contract wordings
- Reviewing of counterparties’ general terms and conditions
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager
Profile
The individual should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3 years of related work experience within the energy trading industry
- Familiar with incoterms
- Polytechnic or diploma holder qualifications with relevant experience will also be considered
- Well versed in Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Excel)
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts)
- Team player and able to work independently
