ZS AVR Digital, Technology & Operations Center of Excellence sits at the intersection of ZS's Value and Access and Digital Products & Services teams. The integrated team is committed to applying innovative strategic, technology and operational solution to address our client's most pressing challenges in all aspects of Contracting lifecycle.
The Contracting Systems Consultant is responsible for leading project teams in conceptualizing, planning, and executing Revenue Management Transformation programs. RMEMs leverage their business expertise, analytic skills, and technology implementation experience to lead initiatives that help clients mitigate issues in revenue leakage, contract operations and compliance.
What you'll do:

  • Act as project leader to define project scope and develop approach;
  • Act as subject matter expert/solution architect across multiple projects;
  • Significant direct client interaction, with accountability for project success;
  • Motivate, coach, and serve as a role model for project team members;
  • Own responsibility for work product quality and relevance to client decisions;
  • Update senior leaders and prepare and present the majority of client presentations;
  • Drive new business development by establishing or maintaining ongoing client relationships with key decision makers;
  • Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and across practice areas;
  • Work with ZS leadership in new solution development and GTM
  • Support development of firm capabilities and offerings (recruitment, training, internal initiatives).


What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, MIS, IT, or another related discipline. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant consulting-industry experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device leading multiple medium-large scale process improvement and technology solution delivery engagements in the contracting space
  • 5+ years' experience in leading teams for project execution within a professional services firm
  • Demonstrated experience with driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the executive level of pharmaceutical and medical device companies
  • Broad understanding of Contracts and Contracting functions including Master Data Management, Configure/Price/Quote (CPQ), Contract Life Cycle Management, Commercial Contracting (Chargebacks and Managed Care), Government Contracting (Medicaid, Government Pricing), Tender Management, Reference Pricing and Gross to Net
  • Recognized Subject Matter Expert in at least two areas mentioned above in the Contracting continuum gained through direct project experience
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing multiple Contracting platform(s) - Salesforce, Conga, Model N - Powered by N, Model N - Flex, Vistex, I-Cyte, Malbek or others
  • Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge


Additional skills:

  • Capable of managing a virtual global team for the timely delivery of multiple projects
  • Experienced in analyzing and troubleshooting interactions between databases, operating systems, and applications
  • Travel to global offices as required to collaborate with clients and internal project teams
