The Contract Manager will manage regulatory reporting tasks, including review of financial submissions, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with audits and queries.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing in monthly closing and preparation of management reports in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (“SFRS”) and MAS within strict reporting deadlines.
- Reviewing of quarterly and annual MAS submissions in accordance with MAS requirements.
- Involve and reviewing other year-end reporting deliverables
- Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts
- Managing the reporting and operation execution process of fixed assets / intangibles as well as expense allocation
- Preparing / reviewing the draft responses to MAS queries
- Involve and assist to co-ordinate the external & internal audit w.r.t timeline, deliverables and communication with auditors and other departments
- Involve in various ad-hoc projects / tasks and systems enhancement w.r.t life and health reporting for regulatory reporting team
Requirements:
- Possess Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (such as ACCA) with at least 7 years of experience in insurance industry, in particular life and health insurance
- Full professional qualification such as CPA will be an added advantage
- Experience in MAS regulatory reporting is preferable
- Analytical and good with data with strong problem-solving skills
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work within and across departments
- Good managerial skills to manage the team members
- Strong excel and experience in SAP or similar General Ledger system
- Able to work under pressure and meet key deadlines
- Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in team
