How you’ll make an impact

1. You will ensure the implementation of applicable policies and requirements issued by the BU and Hub Continuous Improvement Managers, lead lighthouse deployment, including KPI and metrics governance, daily management, Problem solving, S&OP, project management, value-stream mapping (VSM), leadership standard work (LSW), strategy deployment (SD), 5S and visual management, manufacturing excellence, and inventory and supply-in management.

2. You will lead and facilitate communication, education, and training activities; coach continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., L6S and Lean practitioner certification, operations skills matrix, CI project selection and recognition, Lean and CI best-practice sharing, Kaizen workshops, Lighthouse assessments and audits, and internal and external benchmarking, etc.).

3. You will lead cost-reduction initiatives and Kaizen events on a regular basis also optimize the continuous improvement management process to support the business, and develop related standards and guidebooks (e.g., new Blue Collar mentorship training, Good Suggestion program, Workshop 5S, etc.).

4. You will serve as the coordinator of Tier 4 meeting. Consolidate reports, document minutes & drive follow-up actions. Embed continuous improvement principles into addressing factory-level pain points, deploy institutional and process optimizations, and complete a full-scale systematic optimization deployment.

5. You will continuously challenge conventional thinking and drive accountability for operational results and deployment performance. Serve as a change agent for the leadership team and employees also demonstrate Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity by taking accountability for your actions and supporting colleagues and the business.

6. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree or above.

2. Required with 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, Lean manufacturing, operations management, and process improvement.

3. Demonstrated ability to challenge conventional thinking, approaches, and methodologies to drive sustainable improvement, hands-on experience applying Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles and tools.

4. Experience in developing strategy, translating it into actionable plans, and driving sustainable change through influence, proven track record of delivering breakthrough results with measurable bottom-line impact.

5. Ability to lead teams through influence without formal authority, experience in driving cycles of learning and leading Kaizen events.

6. Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
