Uses the ISO 9001 Quality Standard to verify the quality and continuous improvement of our policies, procedures, work instructions and management systems. Ensures that our products and services satisfy the highest standards, through the application of best practices.
Develop the Cluster C-IMP roadmap, which would enhance the Continuous Improvement (C-IMP) mindset and knowledge within the organization, minimising inefficiency (remove wastes) and ensure maximum impact on bottom lines (improve efficiency savings over cost base) while leveraging AI.
Provide Mentorship and training to local C-IMP Leaders on the C-IMP methodology. Acting as a coach who will coordinate and facilitate problem solving workshops for local entities. Bringing up the capacity of local entity C-IMP leaders to run their own workshop professionally, and ensuring that EAP cluster C-IMP leaders received sufficient training and coaching on C-IMP.
Lead key improvement projects that involve multiple cross-functional stakeholders in commercial/operations, entities or corporate functions within the Cluster. Ensure AI-embedded solutions in workflows/processes as applicable.
Own and monitor the progress of Continuous Improvement (C-IMP) KPIs in the cluster, including the amount of efficiency savings generated at local entities leveraging C-IMP methodology by reducing or removing wastes.
Go to Gemba, visit local entity sites and offices to help identify potential areas of improvement.
Train and support teams to implement 5S, DPM and other C-IMP fundamentals
Work with employees at all levels of the organisation to develop a C-IMP mindset through regular and ongoing initiatives and activities
Interacts with other C-IMP champions across the Group to share success stories, best practice consolidation.
Influence managers to embed C-IMP as part of our ways of working
Collaborate and support local entities to identify new projects via C-IMP workshop and replication database.
Closely monitor the Efficiency results in each entity, ensuring the overall Efficiency saving target is achieved.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering. You possess the financial literacy on P&L and a technical mindset capable of understanding and navigating complex supply chain and manufacturing operations.
Possess a strong foundation in end-to-end project management, paired with the deep understanding of business operations from first-hand experience.
Deep understanding of C-IMP and the ability to coach others in these practices. Ideally hold a C-IMP Black Belt (or have the drive to achieve one on the job).
Strong passion or experience in leveraging AI/Automation to eliminate manual, non-value-added tasks.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills; specifically the ability to negotiate and drive 'buy-in' for process changes across different cultures and functions.
