The Role

Your role

As a Content Strategist, you will shape and deliver content that helps customers move confidently through their decision-making journey. Your role will focus on turning insights about audiences, solutions, and markets into clear, relevant, and compelling content assets that support demand generation and seller engagement. Your work balances strategic planning with hands on content creation, with clear ownership of deliverables from concept through publication.

Responsibilities:

Content Strategy

  • Develop and own a content strategy that supports the goals of building a strong data and analytics culture across the organisation, ensuring content is purposeful,audience-centred, and aligned with organisational priorities.

  • Define and maintain the content calendar, mapping content themes and formats to keycommunity milestones, campaigns, and learning objectives.

  • Conduct audience research and needs analysis to inform content direction, ensuring

  • materials resonate with HDB officers at varying levels of Data & AI familiarity.

  • Establish content standards, guidelines, and a consistent editorial voice across all channels and formats.

  • Measure and evaluate content performance using engagement metrics, iterating on the strategy based on data-driven insights.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends in content strategy, data literacy communications, and internal communications best practices, applying relevant learnings to the community's content approach.

Partnerships & AI Adoption

  • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with internal stakeholders, public sector agencies, industry players, and academic institutions to advance AI adoption within the organisation.

  • Serve as a key liaison between the relevant department and external partners, fostering relationships that bring in fresh perspectives, expertise, and resources to support the organisation's AI ambitions.

  • Work closely with business units to understand their needs and co-create initiatives that drive meaningful and sustained AI adoption.

  • Actively source for Data and AI use cases through community engagements,stakeholder conversations, and partnership activities, channelling these insights back to the relevant departments to inform and prioritise future work.

  • Collaborate with partners to co-develop programmes, resources, and events that build AI awareness and capability amongst staff.

Events, Hackathons & Community Engagement

  • Plan, organise, and implement a broad range of community events and initiatives including but not limited to meetups, seminars, workshops, clinics, and competitive

  • engagements such as hackathons or prompt engineering challenges to level up Data & AI competencies among employees and cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

  • Engage community members through varied publicity strategies, including EDMs, polls, focus group sessions, podcasts, and collaboration tools.

  • Source speakers from the public sector and industry for community meetups and events where appropriate.

  • Actively engage business units via internal platforms to encourage participation in and contribution to community activities.

Marketing & Communications

  • Create and oversee the production of marketing and promotional materials including but not limited to brochures, flyers, newsletters, feature stories, and campaigns (digitalor offline).

  • Develop and manage the community portal and knowledge hub, including sourcing and curating useful resources such as articles, videos, and tutorials on data science, moderating forum activity, and producing original content.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.

  • Optimise existing workflows and documentation to improve work efficiency.


Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

  • A degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications, Visual Communications, Communications Design, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • At least 4 years of experience in content strategy, engagement management, and/or change management is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies, with a portfolio of work that shows clear thinking about audience, purpose, and impact.

  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder events such as hackathons, conferences, or large-scale community programmes.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven track record in executing and delivering results in a structured, organised manner.

  • A detail-oriented self-starter and quick learner with excellent organisational skills.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, content management systems, analytics platforms, and social media.

  • An eye for design and proficiency in Canva Pro, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or equivalent tools such as GIMP, Inkscape, or Scribus is a plus.

  • Knowledge of data science, artificial intelligence, and/or data governance is a plus.s clear thinking about audience, purpose, and impact.
