Provide internal audit and enterprise risk management solutions, assist in IT audit engagements, perform risk assessments, and ensure internal control deficiencies are addressed.
You will be working with our highly motivated team of professionals to provide internal audit and enterprise risk management solutions to our wide range of local and international clients. You will be expected to work closely with team members and under guidance from your superiors on IT audit engagements which may include planning, performing, and concluding the engagement. You will have the opportunity to participate in decision making, building relationship with internal and external stakeholders in an open, positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the execution of the IT project plan, ensuring efficient and timely execution of all stages of the IT audit program.
- Perform risk assessments on IT, covering IT General Controls and Application Controls.
- Assist in creating and maintaining all documentation relevant to IT audit program such as process narratives, walkthroughs, flowcharts, testing and controls evaluation documents.
- Review internal controls documentation and identify key ITGC and application controls as business processes are changed. Establish, plan, coordinate and deliver controls testing.
- Coordinate and implement testing of key IT and application controls, track completion, monitor status and continuous follow up with the process owners.
- Ensure any internal control deficiencies are identified, remediated and re-tested.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CISA, CISSP) is preferred.
- Candidates with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience will be considered for an Associate role, while those with 2 - 5 years of experience will be eligible for a Senior role.
- Experience from an international accounting firm is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with SOX, COSO and PCAOB and Experience auditing SAP S/4 Hana system is an added advantage.
- Commendable analytical and technical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willing to expand your horizon, with some travelling required for the role.
