Job Description

Position Overview:

The Compensation Partner will develop and execute compensation strategies to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and alignment with business goals. This role will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate  talent while maintaining compliance with Traveloka policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate requires a strong understanding of compensation principles, excellence analytical  skills,  and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Strategy and Analysis:

  • Develop and implement compensation plans aligned with the company’s objectives.

  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure competitive pay practices

  • Manage annual salary reviews, promotion adjustment, and bonus calculation ensuring fair and consistent application of compensation policies.

  • Design,  and evaluate base pay, variable pay, and equity compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate talent.

  • Maintain and update Traveloka’s job grading system, ensuring it remains relevant to evolving organizational needs

Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and department heads to provide guidance on  compensation-related queries and issues.

  • Provide guidance and support on compensation matters during the hiring process, promotions, transfers, and restructures, ensuring alignment with company policies and strategies.


Compliance and Reporting

  • Develop and update Compensation related policies/ guidelines to ensure they remain align with the Company’s direction

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across all compensation programs.

  • Prepare and analyze compensation reports, including budgeting, forecasting, accrual, and variance analysis

  • Oversee regular external audit on the compensation matters 


Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct compensation analytics to identify trends, gaps,  and opportunities for improvement

  • Stay updated on compensation trends, best practices, and regulatory changes

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in compensation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness through the use of  technology

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in compensation management, preferably within a reward consultancy, technology firm, or multinational organization
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation management, with a good  understanding of best practices and industry trends
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for data management and analysis
  • Familiarity with market survey and benchmarking analysis
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing compensation data
  • Excellent self-awareness, communication, and interpersonal skills.
