Job Responsibilities :

As a HR Communications & Employee Engagement Intern, you will support a dynamic and fast-paced People & Organization team in delivering employee engagement and well-being projects through effective communication strategies and execution. You will have the opportunities to contribute significantly to building Razer as a Great Place to Work and A Place to Do Great Work, while applying your knowledge and skillsets to deliver practical solutions with global outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and design of internal communication materials (e.g., newsletters, infographics, posters, digital assets) to support employee engagement and well-being initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the People & Organization team to develop content for internal platforms such as the intranet, internal social channels, and employee events.

  • Support the execution of global and regional communication campaigns, ensuring consistency in tone, branding, and messaging.

  • Contribute to the development of employer branding content (e.g., videos, social media posts, employee testimonials) that position Razer as a Great Place to Work.

  • Work closely with Global Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and regional HR teams to localize and adapt communication materials as needed.

  • Provide logistical and creative support for HR events and programs, including virtual townhalls, wellness activities, and onboarding experiences.

  • Track and report on engagement metrics (e.g., email open rates, click-throughs, survey responses) to help assess the effectiveness of communication efforts.

  • Stay up to date with design and communication trends, proposing new ideas and tools to enhance our internal outreach.
     

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:

  • Gain hands-on experience in planning and executing internal communication strategies that drive employee engagement and promote organizational culture.

  • Develop practical skills in multimedia content creation, including graphic design, copywriting, and digital storytelling for internal and employer branding use.

  • Understand how HR and communications intersect to shape employee experience within a global organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regional HR leads and global Centers of Excellence, to deliver cohesive communication campaigns.

  • Analyze communication performance using basic metrics and feedback to continuously improve content effectiveness.

  • Strengthen project management, stakeholder communication, and creative problem-solving skills in a real-world corporate environment.

Pre-Requisites :

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia Design, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency in visual and video design tools, such as:
    • Visual: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva
    • Video: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to tone, clarity, and audience.
  • Creativity and an eye for detail in visual storytelling, layout, and multimedia production.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage time and tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude and openness to feedback.
  • Strong interest in employee engagement, organizational culture, and employer branding is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a global, multicultural team setting.
  • Portfolio or sample of previous visual or video work is required as part of the application.
