Job Description

  • Define and drive the agenda for the overarching commercial strategic growth framework for Experience product. Define strategy to realize financial goals in a sustainable and consistent manner in collaboration with Marketing, Supply Management, and Finance.
  • Develops tools to enhance and integrate descriptive and predictive demand and financial analytics to optimize and streamline pricing scenario development and decision-making process.
  • Partner with Marketing and Supply Management teams to define the role of pricing in categories, ensure alignment to brand objectives and consideration of competitive pricing and promo strategies.
  • Responsible for analysis, execution, and score carding of strategic pricing recommendations, and lead communication and alignment to Marketing and Supply Management organizations on its development, execution, and review Identify where to unlock opportunities for scalability of commercial strategies.
  • Lead recommendations for customer specific trade optimization solutions in partnership with Supply Management team Monitor the implementation of quantitative models to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the Market & Partnership team outputs, ensure the model is reflective of the business objectives Work closely with Product to align between tech enablement and supply needs & strategy; esp. to establish scalability Able to use judgment to balance between enjoying immediate business results vs. investing for future growth through prioritization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any other relevant field, or other relevant fields from reputable universities with minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0. An MBA or Master's Degree in the aforementioned field is a plus. 5 years or more of working experience.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Strategy Manager. Experience in the travel industry, other technology company, or global consulting field is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset and an excellent understanding of the P&L and key RGM levers to drive both top and bottom line growth. 
  • Must have a high level of analytical skills, with an ability to distil information and uncover insights from a variety of sources. 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with cross-geography and cross-functional teams, and stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communication skill in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A quick learner to absorb new knowledge in the fast-changing and dynamic industry, and synthesize learnings into strategic growth levers that generate tangible business impacts. Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum and social skills.
