As a Commercial Manager, you’re not leading commercial strategy across multiple segments and revenue streams – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Hilton Garden Inn Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven and results-oriented Commercial Manager to lead the hotel's overall commercial strategy and drive sustainable revenue growth across all business segments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated commercial strategies covering Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, eCommerce, Group & Events and Food & Beverage revenue streams. This role plays a critical part in maximizing hotel performance, market share penetration, profitability and long-term commercial success.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with strategic thinking, leadership capability, market insight and a proven ability to deliver exceptional business results within an international hotel environment.
 

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Commercial Strategy & Performance
    •    Develop and execute the hotel's integrated commercial strategy across all market segments and distribution channels.
    •    Drive total hotel revenue growth while maximizing profitability and market share penetration.
    •    Lead the commercial planning process, annual budgets, forecasts and business reviews.
    •    Identify market opportunities, emerging trends and new revenue streams.
    •    Ensure commercial objectives align with Hilton business priorities.
  • Revenue Management
    •    Oversee revenue optimization strategies across Rooms, Group, Meetings & Events and F&B.
    •    Partner closely with Revenue Management teams to develop pricing, forecasting and inventory strategies.
    •    Analyze market demand, competitor activity and performance trends to drive informed commercial decisions.
    •    Monitor key performance indicators including RevPAR Index, Market Penetration Index, ADR, Occupancy and Total Revenue Index.
  • Sales & Business Development
    •    Lead the development and execution of strategic sales plans.
    •    Strengthen relationships with corporate, government, leisure, MICE and wholesale partners.
    •    Drive proactive account management and business development initiatives.
    •    Support key account negotiations and major contract discussions.
    •    Ensure achievement of annual sales targets and budgeted revenues.
  • Marketing & Distribution
    •    Oversee hotel marketing, digital marketing, eCommerce and distribution strategies.
    •    Maximize online visibility, direct channel performance and brand presence.
    •    Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to optimize campaigns and commercial initiatives.
    •    Ensure effective utilization of Hilton commercial tools and platforms.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    •    Lead, coach and develop commercial team members to achieve high performance.
    •    Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and commercial excellence.
    •    Build strong relationships with ownership representatives, corporate stakeholders and regional support teams.
    •    Present business performance, commercial strategies and action plans to senior stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial leadership experience within international hotel brands.
  • Strong background in Revenue Management and Sales disciplines
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share improvement.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, business planning and performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of hotel financial metrics including RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOP and EBITDA.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing commercial teams.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
