Join our dynamic team as a Business Manager in the Singapore Markets & Securities Services Sales Franchise team, where you will drive key initiatives and optimize business performance. This role offers exposure to products across asset classes such as Macro, Spread, Equities, and Securities Services, and provides opportunities to interact with senior management.
As a Business Manager in the Singapore Markets & Securities Services Sales Franchise team, you will identify client opportunities, track performance, and drive product and platform enhancements in collaboration with Sales, Trading, Business Managers, and other functions like Technology, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Compliance. You will also engage in cross-Line Of Business (LOB) and cross-location projects with the APAC Sales Business Management team, gaining exposure to the broader APAC Sales business.

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior trusted advisor and counterweight to Business Heads, facilitate franchise business reviews, track revenue goals, and oversee expense controls.
- Lead and implement strategic business initiatives across products in Fixed Income, Equities, and Securities Services, develop business performance scorecards to measure success.
- Perform data analysis to identify key revenue gaps, trends, and business opportunities.
- Drive and support the implementation of global and local regulatory agendas.
- Manage business risks and support the control environment by identifying, assessing, and mitigating business risks that could impart the ability to do business across multiple countries the franchise spans.
- Manage the escalation of any day-to-day sales/client issues (e.g., KYC, Operations, Legal, Tech, etc.) in partnership with key support function leads.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
- Minimum 7 years of Business Management or Chief Operating Officer experience
- Strong problem solving and communication skills to help resolve issues and articulate ideas clearly
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment with the ability to develop, present and draw conclusions
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills to be able to deliver in a fast paced environment
- Mature, highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership and is able to work independently
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with local, regional and global teams
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience in the Finance function and product knowledge of Markets or Securities Services will be beneficial
