The Commercial Finance Manager, APAC is responsible for pricing results and governance in Cytiva Asia Pacific (APAC), and finance business partnership with APAC Medical Commercial Leader.

This position reports to the Finance Director, ASEAN and APAC Commercial and is part of the APAC Finance team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Lead and drive pricing attainment and margin growth for the overall Cytiva Asia Pacific business. Provide data visibility and support the business towards meeting the annual pricing targets. Actively partner with the Commercial and Pricing teams, along with other regional and global functions, to increase pricing and margin predictability, develop forward looking intelligence, process and responsibilities alignment, simplification, and process optimization.
  • Lead the APAC pricing calculations, Bowler reviews, and support analytics on pricing deep dives as part of the monthly business review meetings with Commercial teams. Develop financial models that will drive a consistent and intelligent approach towards analyzing margins (especially on large hardware deals) across all the sub-regions.
  • Finance business partner to APAC Medical Commercial Leader and his leadership team to achieve the overall business objectives and financial goals of the Business Unit. This includes FP&A support, forecast, pulse, investment analysis, and Budget mechanisms of the BU.
  • Controllership: Assist in APAC Medical and Pricing related closing activities, including reporting, manual journal entries preparation, variance analysis. Support SOX testing as part of Danaher annual requirement and balance sheet review activities.
  • DBS/Simplification: Lead and/or support any commercial finance related projects for continuous improvement. Utilize DBS tools to drive continuous process and simplification by aligning and influencing key stakeholders within the process.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with solid finance background
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • 8+ years’ Finance & Accounting experience, including experience in finance business partnership and/or FP&A roles
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong interpersonal skills, established analytical and project management ability
  • Strong P&L orientation with a demonstrated ability to achieve financial commitments and excellent business and analytical skills with a high degree of intelligence and creativity.
