As a Finance Manager, you will handle management and financial reporting, reconciliations, and support operations. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing audit processes, tracking crypto transactions, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting internal control processes.
Who We’re Looking For
We are a fast-growing technology startup in the cryptocurrency space. As we scale, we are looking for a skilled and motivated accountant to join our finance team as a Finance Manager. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with experience in a major audit firm or bank who is looking for their first step into the cryptocurrency industry, or in a startup environment.
What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for management and financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting various operations of the business. Being a growing company, you will be hands on, and your main duties will include:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Work with external auditors during financial audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Crypto Operational Payments and Reconciliation
- Track and reconcile crypto transactions, token movements, and on-chain financial activities for our crypto based payments.
- Monitor and manage cash usage and funding, ensuring proper controls are in place.
- Assist in setting up accounting processes and best practices.
Tax & Compliance
- Support compliance with local tax regulations.
- Prepare tax filings and liaise with tax consultants.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry best practices.
Financial Analysis & Internal Controls
- Assist in explaining movements in the balance sheet and expenses.
- Support internal control processes, including reviewing financial transactions for accuracy.
- Collaborate with the operations team to streamline financial workflows.

What You Have Achieved
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- 4-5 years of experience in accounting, ideally including time at a reputable accounting firm or bank. You are looking to make a step into the cryptocurrency space.
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- Prior experience in the crypto, blockchain, or fintech industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with Netsuite is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
