Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Familiar with OpenText/Sharepoint)

Selected candidate will be offered a direct 2 year contract employment.
As a member specializing in Document Management Systems (DMS), you will be a pivotal member of a high-impact GovTech project team. Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Cloud Architects, and Technical Consultants, you will design and deliver mission-critical ICT capabilities that empower public sector efficiency. This role involves rotational 24/7 standby support and planned after-office hours maintenance or patching activities; candidates should be comfortable with such optional requirements.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business requirements, ensuring our document management solutions are robust, scalable, and user-centric. Your key responsibilities include:
- Administration: Manage enterprise-grade Document Management Systems to streamline organizational content and document lifecycles.
- Requirements Analysis: Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to translate complex business workflows into functional and design specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Define validation and acceptance criteria; rigorously review system integration testing and data conversion processes to ensure high-standard delivery.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Perform deep-dive root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve complex technical issues, implementing preventive measures to optimize performance.
Requirements

Technical Qualifications:
- Document Management Expertise: At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Document Management Systems and/or Microsoft SharePoint.
- Web Standards: Strong understanding of general web functions, security principles, session management, and mobile-responsive design.
- Professional Competencies:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to toggle between a broad strategic perspective and technical granular details.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to pitch innovative ideas and influence senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative Mindset: A self-motivated team player who is resourceful and willing to take calculated risks to achieve stakeholders satisfaction.
