Are you ready to play a crucial role in optimizing and securing our cloud infrastructure across APAC, including China? Join our dynamic team as a DevOps Engineer, where you will be the go-to expert for all DevOps matters in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure for APAC, with a focus on China.
- Assist in migrating on-premises servers to the Cloud.
- Collaborate with the APAC Cloud Infrastructure Manager to ensure security by design in all projects.
- Automate and optimize OPEX costs on the Cloud.
Cybersecurity and Compliance:
- Maintain guidelines and standard operating procedures for infrastructure in APAC.
- Collaborate on the definition and execution of the IT infrastructure strategy.
- Address cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection incidents with the helpdesk and global operation teams.
- Design and implement SecDevOps processes and automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry trends, introducing innovative solutions to optimize or design infrastructure.
Requirements
Technical & Management Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in the Public Cloud.
- Development experience in Python, Java, Golang, JavaScript, C#, Bash.
- Understanding of server fundamentals, virtualization, storage, and network protocols.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Exposure to Public Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud).
- Fluent in English and Mandarin for effective communication with China vendors.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Certifications from any Public Cloud and DevOps-related certifications.
- Experience in IT organizations supporting a mobile or "disconnected" workforce.
- 2+ years of experience in a global organization.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT architecture.
