Key Accountabilities:
Client – facing responsibility
- Be the senior point of contact for local and global stakeholders and act as the escalation point between the team, the client and our sister agencies within Dentsu.
- Fully understand client business objectives / communication objectives and ensure these are translated into meaningful platform strategies and executed faultlessly.
- Attend and represent the team at important external and internal client meetings, including senior management status meetings, briefing sessions, campaign reviews, QBRs etc.
Partner relationship management
- Develop and foster an effective working relationship with our key partners at Google and Facebook to ensure we continue to deliver best in class campaigns and identify potential alpha / beta trials.
- Constantly review and trial our display and programmatic partners to meet the changing needs of Dentsu and our clients.
Team & Workload management
- Be responsible for the development of managers within your team, including the setting of personal objectives and performance reviews.
- Support your teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of work, identifying improvements to ways of working where required.
Client profitability and finance
- Be responsible for the delivery of revenue across the clients within your teams and pursue all potential cross sell / up sell opportunities
- Ensure your teams are completing billing and reconciliation of campaign spend / income in a timely and accurate manner so suppliers are paid on time, and clients are invoiced on time
Project and Campaigns Management
- Oversee the development of client digital strategies to deliver against clear performance KPIs.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and as planned with no overspends or errors in delivery.
- Drive analytics project conversation with the Client, supported by the Head of Analytics and Head of Ad Operations for technical discussions
- Support Head of Analytics to deliver industry-leading technical and analytics projects by taking ownership of project delivery.
- End-to-end management of global digital projects that will drive additional revenue.
Product Development & New Business
- Remain abreast of developments in Digital Media
- Provide strategic guidelines for digital overall: media buy, analytics, ad operations
- Create case studies and award entries based on campaign results as appropriate
- Actively participate in increasing the overall digital maturity of the client and drive additional revenue opportunities across local and global business
Key Experiences:
- Minimum 10 years’ agency side experience in a digital strategy and/or execution role including 3 years in a Senior Account Management position
- Experience managing a team to deliver best in class client campaigns
- Experience managing senior client relationships
