Job Description

Team Summary

By joining one of our teams at Visa Payments Ltd, a division of Visa Inc since 2019, you’ll have an opportunity to shape the payments experience globally. The Implementation team are responsible for managing end-to-end lifecycle of client or network partner implementations for our account and Wallet products within the Visa Payment Limited division of Visa. This role will be responsible for leading the end-to-end lifecycle of a particular client implementations.

What an Implementation Manager does at Visa:

  • Planning client onboarding, offboarding or remediation activities, across the full delivery lifecycle

  • Managing the execution of the client implementation including capturing and reporting the status of core implementation tasks

  • Supporting handover of client to BAU teams, ensuring all appropriate governance and sign-off has been finalised

  • Support continuous improvement of the implementation playbook through routine and bespoke analysis to identify improvement opportunities and feedback to readiness teams to adjust the playbook

What will also help:

  • Experience within a payment business and understanding of cross border funds flow

  • API integration project delivery for clients

  • Understanding of the financial regulatory landscape

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or atleast 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in delivering high value multi-functional projects within complex organization.
  • Experienced in managing implementations with technical integration deliverables and testing programmes
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project or programme management with ownership of end-to-end journey and successful completion
  • Previous experience in direct or matrix management of large teams.
  • Effective stakeholder management, communications and influencing skills.
  • Excellent skills in drafting presentations, reports, communications, and other deliverables adapted to the audience.
  • Experience delivering a range of complex projects.
  • Hold relevant project management qualifications (e.g. Prince II, PMI PMP, Agile).
