CIB Markets Digital Markets – Equities Product Manager - Associate

Leads equities digital-market product initiatives and technology transformations, focusing on automation, requirements gathering, feature prioritization, governance, implementation roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery. Partners with Sales, Trading, Quantitative Research, Data, Technology, and clients; manages stakeholder communications, product adoption, user engagement, and resource allocation. Requires knowledge of equities or derivatives trading, electronic trading workflows, market structure, quantitative analysis, and technology-enabled product development.
Key responsibilities:
- Full end to end leadership of new business initiative and technology transformation initiatives, with focus on automation
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to elicit requirements, drive feature prioritization, and coordinate delivery across Sales, Trading, QR, Data, and Technology teams.
- Managing product governance and facilitating strong effective project management
- Partnering with technology to prioritise development work, manage resource allocation, co-ordinate implementation roadmaps
- Direct interaction with internal and external clients to understand and address requirements and priorities
- Providing regular updates/reports to key stakeholders communicating progress
- Track product adoption targets and maintain regular user engagement
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
In filling this role, we are seeking a candidate with an excellent work ethic and with skills and experience to complement the existing team. The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience in a product management / product development role, ideally within a Markets Trading/Sales environment or electronic product development
- Knowledge of Equity / Equity Derivatives trading business and products or other equivalent asset class
- Demonstrated ability to market products and collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and all levels of management
Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferable
Strong understanding of electronic sales and trading workflows, including quote distribution, algorithmic execution, client-facing e-trading platforms, FIX connectivity, and automation across the end-to-end trading lifecycle will be beneficial
