The Chief Process Engineer leads process engineering design, performs simulations and calculations, and participates in workshops, requiring extensive experience in oil and gas projects.

Chief Process EngineerJob Responsibilities:
- Lead process engineering and design, including process configuration and optimization studies.
- Perform and review process simulations and prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance, and Utility Balances.
- Create and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Prepare and review process equipment datasheets and instrument datasheets.
- Conduct relief and blowdown studies, relief load scenario analysis, and flare network calculations.
- Perform and review process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics.
- Develop process design philosophies and operating guides.
- Participate in and lead technical discussions during process workshops such as PHA/HAZOP and others.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 22 years of relevant Oil and Gas experience.
- Proven track record in concept studies, FEED, and detailed design projects.
- Strong experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process teams on hydrocarbon projects.
- Solid understanding of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs.
- Knowledge of international codes and standards, as well as engineering software and tools.
- Preference for candidates with Lead Engineer or Advisory experience on at least two projects.
- Experience in leading technical discussions in process workshops such as PHA/HAZOP.
