Job Description
As Nexthink expands into Japan, we are looking for a Channel Manager to develop and execute our partner strategy in this brand-new market. This is a rare opportunity to establish and cultivate Nexthink’s channel ecosystem, playing a pivotal role in our success in Japan. If you have a passion for building strong partner relationships, driving revenue through strategic alliances, and growing a new market from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Execute Partner Strategy – Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic channel partners to accelerate Nexthink’s market penetration in Japan.
- Build & Nurture Strong Relationships – Establish trust and credibility with key partners, ensuring long-term business success.
- Drive Revenue Growth – Work closely with partners to develop joint business plans that drive demand, pipeline, and revenue.
- Educate & Enable Partners – Provide training and resources to ensure partners are equipped to effectively position and sell Nexthink’s Digital Employee Experience (DEX) solutions.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams – Align with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to create go-to-market strategies that support partner success.
- Monitor & Optimize Performance – Track partner performance metrics, analyze results, and continuously refine strategies for better outcomes.
- Lead Negotiations & Contract Management – Develop mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term partnerships.
- Become a Thought Leader in the Ecosystem – Represent Nexthink at industry events, forums, and partner meetings to build brand awareness and market influence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development in the Japanese enterprise IT sector.
- Track record of successfully launching and developing a partner ecosystem in a new market or within a high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of Japan’s business culture – ability to navigate corporate structures, build trust, and develop strong relationships within local enterprises.
- Strong sales acumen – ability to drive pipeline growth through channel partners and collaborate on strategic sales initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English – capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with SaaS, IT infrastructure, or digital transformation solutions.
- Self-motivated and adaptable – thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
