Let's Talk About the Role & Responsibilities:
As a Category Manager, you will play a key role in shaping ResMed’s supply chain strategy, driving supplier performance, and aligning procurement initiatives with our business and product innovation goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic category management plans in alignment with business objectives, supplier performance, and risk management.

Drive integrated category solutions that support ResMed’s product development roadmap, ensuring quality, innovation, and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate, select, and manage suppliers in compliance with ResMed’s Quality Management System.

Lead supplier selection and approval processes, providing clear guidance on selection criteria and managing risk assessments.

Manage procurement activities for new product introductions, ensuring project timelines are met.

Execute RFI/RFP/RFQ processes in collaboration with internal teams.

Build strong supplier relationships and continuously improve performance through structured metrics, reviews, and improvement initiatives.

Develop and execute negotiation plans based on detailed price benchmarking and market analysis.

Ensure category management strategies reinforce ResMed’s leadership in technology, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Identify opportunities for long-term supplier partnerships that align with ResMed’s product innovation roadmap.

Prepare and implement contract frameworks with strategic suppliers to secure pricing, guarantee supply, and protect intellectual property.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Let's Talk About You:
Required:

A degree in Engineering, Science, or a related Business discipline.

Proven experience in category management or procurement.
Preferred:

At least 8 years of experience in strategic procurement or category management.

Strong track record of stakeholder management in a technology-driven product development or manufacturing environment.
