The primary role of Procurement function is to focus on procurement practices applied within designated areas of expenditure. Key deliverables include influencing Category Management and operational initiatives, utilizing strategic sourcing and procurement techniques. Placing and follow-up of purchase orders primarily to support manufacturing function and administration. Maintain supplier relationships – emphasis on putting in place long term agreements with regular suppliers.


Let’s talk about Responsibilities
  • Category Planning of Electronics components : the primary objective of Category Manager is to develop and implement Category Management plans in alignment with Resmed’s business goals, including future product and supply chain needs.

  • Cross functional alignment & business casing : Teams develop and manage category strategy hand in hand with stakeholders, as well review and analyze supplier spend to derive useful insights that drive opportunities to consolidate spend and save the company money.

  • Supplier relationships management : drive regular business review practices - drive innovation, deliver sustainable cost & value, create competitive advantage and manage business and compliance risks.

  • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.

  • AI agency : user and promoter of AI tools to simply works

  • Price analysis : conduct should cost analysis to project buying recommendation

  • Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Driving or supporting supply chain projects ( eg Supplier non-conformance, sourcing escalation, NPI, MDSAP, etc )

  • Frequently leads sub-functional teams or projects and train and mentor junior team members.

  • Serves as a best practice resource within own area of work.

Required:
  • Category Planning

  • Business casing

  • Related experience in the procurement of Electronics

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience.

  • Applies functional knowledge and existing methodologies to solve complex problems or execute specialized projects.

  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
