What you will do:

  • Lead functionally Indirect buyers to deliver results on key financial metrics – Yearly cost savings and trade working capital improvement, in Professional services scope including Logistics, Marketing, Finance, HR, Insurance, travel, and other related service, with spend of $105m

  • Support global 12 manufacturing sites and multiple sales entities to meet their business objectives by managing Professional service sourcing.

  • This role solid line reporting to: Indirect Category Director of JCH.

How you will do it:

  • Develop category strategy to manage suppliers of Professional service to support S&OP practice with competitive cost and agile responsiveness.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to buyers to execute Category Strategies at sites.

  • Participates in JCI Global related Indirect Procurement Categories strategy definition and optimize usage of global agreements ensuring leverage from the Global agreements to all regions.

  • Strive towards achieving world class supplier performance by driving continuous improvement initiatives and active collaboration with strategic suppliers, supplier rationalization, value engineering, knowledge-based sourcing etc.

  • Create, manage and communicate RFX documents for Professional service requirements, leading the Global tender process through tender evaluation, post tender negotiation, Supplier Adds, contracting, purchase order and delivery.

  • Maintain a global supplier contact database for all Global Professional service Procurement.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma preferably in Supply Chain Management.  MBA would be preferred

  • Min. 7-8 years in Large Manufacturing or Multi-industry global organization

  • Min. 10 (5+) years of experience in a Strategic Sourcing role, supporting multiple Plants & Regions in the scope of Professional service.

  • Capability to interface with Senior Leadership across Regions both internally & externally

  • In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practice (E-auction, E-RFX, BI Tools etc.)_

  • Strong MS Office skills– focus on Excel proficiency. 

  • Strong costing & analytical skills

  • Working knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP systems

  • Travel 20% (Global and Domestic)

  • Ability to analyze and learn cost structure models in different regions.

  • Strong procurement fundamentals, such as: RFx process, cost modeling, contract negotiation, principles of category management, forecasting, negotiations, among others. 

  • Capability to synthesize large amounts of data, to effectively communicate with key stakeholders, including Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and HR leaders.
