Job Description

  • Develop and implement category strategies, leading strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure favorable terms and meet global saving targets.
  • Analyze market data, industry trends, and internal metrics to inform decision-making and present performance reports to Senior Leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in category management.
  • Oversee and mentor junior category managers while fostering a high-performance team culture.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks within assigned categories, aligning with company sustainability and ESG goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Technical Studies, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Category Management, or Strategic Sourcing
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing category strategies
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
  • Experience in global supply chain management and automotive industry trends
  • Fluency in English; willingness to travel within Asia and occasionally Europe
