Manage the cards product portfolio P&L, develop value propositions, launch and relaunch card products, run data-driven marketing campaigns, optimize profitability, coordinate stakeholders for product and system enhancements, and handle day-to-day operations and customer issues.
As a Product Manager for the Cards Portfolio, the candidate will be responsible for the P&L of the portfolio, developing the value proposition, creating customer value and campaigns to drive acquisition and usage of Cards products. It is critical for the candidate to be able to grasp and translate concepts into marketing and operational plans. The candidate will also need to understand competitor strengths and weaknesses to uncover opportunities to grow revenue and card utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate business plans to achieve set KPIs in spend, activation and acquisition.
- Develop, differentiate and launch new credit cards or relaunch of existing credit cards through identification of product gaps in the market and potential market opportunity in the competitive credit cards landscape.
- Conduct market research and analysis on customer segments, value proposition and competitor analysis.
- Good grasp of portfolio management fundamentals and product functionalities. The ability to translate technical capabilities into benefits and effectively position and maintain a competitive edge over competitors.
- Plan and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns on a timely basis. Conduct post-mortem and evaluate campaigns with data-driven knowledge to provide insights.
- Maximise/ Optimise profits with effective cost management.
- Work with the various stakeholders for full support on projects (for process improvement/ new product development, relaunches of cards etc.).
- Ability to pitch, negotiate and manage external stakeholders such as partners, schemes, vendors, media agencies etc.
- Ensure that the printing and contents in all marketing collaterals meet the requirements as per the Marketing Checklist developed based on regulatory requirements before clearance by relevant internal and/or external parties.
- Readiness to acquire system knowledge in putting up system requirements and working with internal and external stakeholders on enhancements required.
- Manage feedback and resolve customer related issues directly and/or through bank touchpoints.
- Day-to-day operations such as rebates crediting and checks, processing invoices and other ad-hoc administrative duties.

Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Economics and/or Marketing
Relevant Work Experience
- Minimally, 2 years’ experience in Product Management role, with familiarity in credit cards/payments and/or lending
Competencies/Skills
- Solid understanding of cards and lending landscape and financial dynamics
- Background in IT or experience in system enhancements a plus
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships to drive business growth
