Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source product through prospecting new suppliers and managing existing supplier relationships.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers and equipment.
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
- Collaborate with Account Executive team through proprietary ERP system, keeping detailed notes to maintain our unique competitive advantage
- Proactively bring offers of product to sell
- Responsible for other duties and obligations that may arise from time and as requested from the supervisor and /or company’s management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in any field.
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry preferably in the semiconductor, electronic components industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel).
- Good Communication, negotiation, problem solving and sourcing skills.
