Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electronic components.
- Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and reliability.
- Supplier Management & Negotiations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Negotiate favorable terms on cost, lead times, and service levels.
- Market & Risk Analysis
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks in the electronic broker industry.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions in supply.
- Analyze commodity pricing, global demand, and geopolitical factors affecting supply chains.
- Inventory & Demand Planning
- Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams to align supply with business demand.
- Optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Forecast demand and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all electronic components meet regulatory and industry standards.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to prevent defective or counterfeit components.
- Maintain compliance with environmental and ethical sourcing regulations.
- Cost Optimization & Budgeting
- Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Manage procurement budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Leverage bulk purchasing, strategic partnerships, and alternative sourcing to optimize costs.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, commodity management, or supply chain in the electronics industry.
- Deep understanding of the electronic components market and brokerage industry.
- Familiarity with key suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors in the industry.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and counterfeit prevention.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends and risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
