GLFE Business Risk & Control Manager
The In Business Risk and Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the risk management and internal control processes within Group Lifestyle Financing & Ecosystem. This role involves identifying potential risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring that the team compiles with relevant laws and regulation.

What you do

1. Risk Identification and Assessment

- Identify potential risks that could impact the bank’s operations, reputation, or financial performance

- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks.

- Develop and maintain a risk register to document and track risks.

2. Control Implementation and Monitoring

- Design and implement internal controls to mitigate identified risks

- Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls through regular reviews

- Ensure that controls are updated and improved based on changing risk environments and business needs.

3. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight

- Ensure that the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and advise the organization on compliance requirements.

4. Risk Mitigation and Response

- Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified risks

- Coordinate with various departments to implement risk mitigation measures.

- Lead the response to risk events, including crisis management and incident investigations.

5. Training and Awareness

- Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of risk management and control practices

- Promote a risk awareness and proactive risk management culture within the team

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in risk management, internal controls or compliance roles, with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of the regulations related to payments, credit cards and unsecured lending
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all key stakeholders
