The Business Policies and Procedures, Procurement Team (“BPP‑Procurement”) is responsible for implementing Bank‑wide frameworks and processes aligned with the Group Procurement Policy and BOS Procurement Standard. We work closely with stakeholders across the Bank to implement procurement processes that enhance efficiency, strengthen risk management, and ensure policy compliance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team. You will gain hands‑on experience in policy development and implementation, governance, risk and controls, policy advisory, and stakeholder engagement. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to projects that drive efficiency and business enablement.

WHAT YOU DO

  • Lead the formulation and implementation of BOS‑wide procurement policies and procedures.
  • Establish and manage governance forums and management reporting to oversee procurement compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices; drive continuous improvement of procurement policies, processes, and platforms.
  • Develop and implement tools, processes, and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with Group and BOS procurement policies and standards.
  • Engage stakeholders and manage feedback to evaluate policy effectiveness and improve user experience.
  • Support audits, regulatory inspections, compliance testing, and management deep dives related to BOS procurement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all three lines of defence and with Group functions on procurement matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the banking industry, preferably in procurement or TPRM policy development and implementation. Relevant consulting experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in project management, change management, and crisis management.
  • Self‑driven and confident, capable of operating independently in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
  • Persuasive and persistent, with a strong focus on execution and delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Well organized, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and resilient, thriving in diverse and dynamic environments.
  • Tech‑savvy, with familiarity in AI and data tools, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
