The Singapore office is seeking a Business Intelligence & Research Analyst to join our Brand Solutions team. This role involves working closely with both Property Sales and Brand Consulting teams to generate new business opportunities, support sales goals, and deliver research insights across various projects.
The ideal candidate is motivated, organised and a quick-thinking team player with a strong interest in business, brands, the global economy, and the sports landscape (including esports). A natural curiosity, a positive attitude, and a readiness to perform research-driven tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research initiatives to identify emerging industry trends and sectors. Continuously analyse market dynamics and competitor activity to provide strategic insights that drive the Property Sales team's lead generation efforts, ensuring they stay ahead of market shifts and capitalize on new opportunities.
- CRM: Support the seamless integration and maintenance of prospect data within CRM systems. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data, enabling efficient reporting and analysis that empowers the Property Sales team to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Data Analysis: Leverage third-party research tools and data visualisation techniques to extract meaningful audience insights, delivering both the Property Sales and Brand Consulting teams with more robust strategies.
- Storytelling: Develop and present compelling, data-driven narratives that distil complex research into clear, concise, and actionable insights. Support key business processes including pre-sales, sales engagement, strategic planning, and campaign execution, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with insights that drive business growth.
- Ad-hoc: Support other team functions on an ad-hoc basis, as required
Requirements
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in marketing, research, sports & entertainment (open to fresh grads)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (sports background a plus)
- Strong communication skills including the ability to articulate research insights
- Proficiency in Mandarin and/or any other Asian language a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and effectively managing multiple projects
- Strong research skills with keen attention to detail (familiarity with online research tools is a plus)
- Some experience in data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values a collaborative culture
- Well versed with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) on both Microsoft and Apple interfaces
- Passionate about traditional sports, esports, entertainment and contemporary culture
