We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Consistently completes sales calls and presentations and cultivates and handles a large portfolio of potential accounts aiming to meet personal target sales expectations.
- Utilizes existing network, a mid-sized list of account leads and insights derived from research and relationship engagements to gain business or interest from small, nuanced or manifold potential accounts in a delegated region and/or industry.
- Frequently interfaces with internal and external senior level stakeholders and assists senior colleagues who specialize in a preferred market and/or industry with advanced aspects of the deal process.
- Conducts in-depth, targeted market research leveraging advanced market awareness, contacts and an in-depth understanding of the competitive environment to identify and target potential business opportunities.
- Authors due diligence reports containing complex financial analyses, and detailed market/product insights in response to a request for proposal or in assistance to a senior colleague for a complex proposal.
- Designs and develops targeted marketing & sales plans for various business offerings and concepts directed at small, nuanced or manifold potential accounts and acts as a top level specialist to complete aspects of complex marketing plans for use by senior colleagues.
- Is a member of various professional and industry or regional organizations and attends conferences and relevant events to expand and maintain a large professional network, represent the company and gain exposure and insight as to various specialties.
What you need to have:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Relevant working experience in business development and/or health solutions.
- Have Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent or complete CGI within reasonable period upon employment.
- Understand the various stages of Sales Funnel (and a bonus if you have Performance Marketing understanding).
