More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Business Development Manager (Vari-lite & Color Kinetics) in Singapore (covering ASEAN, Australia & NZ) with Signify.

  • Expand the network of lighting designers, specifiers and influencers we show our products to and can influence their specifications on projects, tours and shows.

  • Build relationships with the new generation and up and coming designers, creating a community and program of support.

  • As a hybrid role, you will work closely with KAMs on the architectural side to map out working relationships with key accounts to ensure we “close the loop” from designer specification to sale. You will manage the end to end sales process for entertainment sales.

  • Manage the user experience with the creatives and feedback into product teams on product development, providing vital VOC input to the NPD process to allow us to develop differentiated product and fulfill need/solution

  • Business orientation mindset, flexible, self-motivating and professional are attributes that define yourself

  • Broad range of technical skills and experience across multiple disciplines within entertainment and or architectural lighting application, experience in Lighting Design / application; Production management and lighting control programming are essential

  • 3 years of working experience in a sales environment, or managing strategic customer accounts ideal but not essential. Ideally within one or more of the following areas - Architectural sales, entertainment rental companies, system integration companies, theatres and venue managers etc

  • Previous experience across multiple entertainment and or architectural lighting segments and applications with expertise in live production and concert touring. --for example, Theatre, Broadcast or concert touring, theme park, cruise ship, landmark, arena, sports
