Otto International, based in Hong Kong, specializes in the procurement of apparel, footwear, furniture and home textiles while providing supply chain services including 3D design, social compliance audits and sustainability services. This exciting new role will lead new customer acquisition reporting to the global Business Development lead in Hong Kong. Whether in Hong Kong or working remotely elsewhere in Asia you can expect flexible working hours and an appreciative environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development and new sourcing services customer acquisition for global customers 

  • Set the business development strategy and operational plan for the next 5 years, working strategically with the global business development team to identify and deliver a diverse, multi-market & customer strategy  

  • Manage a pipeline of new customer projects, forecast opportunities and drive consistent sales, gaining market share

  • Negotiate business terms according to company's requirements, work closely with finance and legal   

 

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • A hunter with experience in identifying, prioritizing, and securing new business and customer opportunities through consultative, solution selling or B2B sales ideally in fashion or home and living products 

  • Skilled in building long-term strategic relationships with potential customers, expert at pitching and engaging new customers 

  • Demonstrated determination and resilience in identifying and converting opportunities into tangible business outcomes 

  • You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset that owns their business, can effectively identify targets and successfully manage a long sales cycle 

  • Language: English plus additional European languages are advantageous

  • Proven ability to monitor and stay abreast of regional conditions and competitive intelligence and effectively communicate findings across the organization 

  • Work independently, set own agenda, can effectively identify targets and plan your time, work and travel effectively
