Responsibilities

  • Identify potential new prospects, client drivers and engage clients
  • Managing and development of key client relationships
  • Gathering and analysing market information for new projects, opportunities and industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Strategic planning in developing the pipeline of new businesses and market opportunities coming into Fugro
  • Working closely with the Service Line Managers (SLMs) to share information and leverage key contacts and relationships
  • Coordinating with the relevant Key Account Managers to align the Global and regional strategy
  • Communicating with the relevant Global teams on priority solutions (ie. Remote operations, UXO, etc.) for Fugro’s business development initiatives
  • Working with the Commercial team to develop proposals that are targeted to address client’s needs
  • Development of the Fugro sales strategies for the market, to ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Represent Fugro at industry events to generate leads
  • Maintains the L2C sales funnel and CRM management processes and systems (Avalon). Ensures all opportunities and client data are registered and maintained in the sales funnel and CRM system (Avalon)

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ proven technical sales / business development expertise within the Subsea and/or Offshore Wind industry
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis within Asia
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Solid analytical abilities
  • Team player
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
