Job Description

We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to support our regional growth initiatives. This role combines lead generation, outreach, reporting, and event logistics, with opportunities to contribute to creative and digital marketing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Events & Campaign Support

    • Assist in the conceptualisation, planning, and execution of events.

    • Manage logistics before, during, and after events, ensuring seamless coordination.

    • Support post-event follow-ups.

  • Lead Generation & Outreach

    • Source and qualify new leads through various platforms and databases.

    • Manage leads within our CRM to ensure data accuracy.

    • Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, messaging platforms, and calls) to engage prospective leads and ensure timely follow-up.

    • Conduct occasional cold calls to new prospects and upsell calls to existing merchants.

    • Utilize AI-powered tools to automate lead research, data enrichment, and personalized outreach messaging

  • Reporting & Analytics

    • Track and report outreach activities, including number of contacts, responses, and conversions, etc.

    • Prepare regular performance reports and insights for management.

  • Digital & Creative Support

    • Help build and update the merchant website with relevant content.

    • Use Photoshop, Canva (and similar tools) to create marketing materials and assets.

    • Support video production for campaigns and promotional activities (preferred, not required).

Qualifications

*Note: This is a 6 month internship to start from Jan 2026

 

  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Mindset & Interests

    • Adaptable team player with a growth mindset and readiness to contribute across projects and functions

    • Eagerness to learn quickly and take on diverse responsibilities with a proactive, hands on approach.

    • Genuine interest in staying updated on marketing and business development trends, and applying them practically.

  • Core Skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and foster collaboration across teams.

    • Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate challenges and act on opportunities.

    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • Proficiency in reading and writing Cantonese would be a plus.

  • Technical & Digital Skills

    • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or equivalent tools.

    • Basic Photoshop skills (required); video editing skills (ideal but not mandatory).

    • Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting dashboards (preferred).

    • Knowledge of digital marketing practices, including social media, SEO, content marketing, email campaigns, and analytics tools.

    • Familiarity with Generative AI tools for content and image generation

  • Available to commit to full-time work for 6 months
