Business Development and Strategy Associate, APAC

A bit about the job:

Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for supporting the CEO and the broader team on business development and other client-related activity. The role sits within our APAC Distribution team, which is responsible for managing and developing client relationships and raising assets.  As this role requires supporting the CEO on other business-related issues, the individual must be prepared to multi-task across a wide scope of activities as detailed below. Within the role, you will coordinate and support our front office efforts. This can entail preparing meeting materials, briefing and meeting notes, follow up questions and coordinating with internal parties on necessary requests.  You will also need to track and update on prospective client activities.  Alongside this, you will support the CEO on reviewing and summarising key issues and coordinate with internal parties on follow up items whilst also needing to report and escalate risk issues to CEO and help to coordinate on follow ups.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Understanding of the APAC landscape, preferably having worked in asset management industry.

  • Currently working towards IMC, CAIA or CFA, or desire to do so.  

  • Someone that is organised, can multi-task, and works well under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Solid understanding of public markets investments. Private markets knowledge an advantage.

  • The individual must enjoy working on many different scope of work beyond just client facing tasks.
