Market Expansion & Strategic Growth

  • Proactively identify, engage, and acquire prospective clients by effectively demonstrating ALSg’s unique value proposition across the market.
  • Assess market potential and gather actionable intelligence by conducting surveys, performing SWOT analyses, and building comprehensive competitor databases.
  • Initiate and nurture deep, long-lasting industrial contacts through continuous networking across Singapore's key industrial sectors.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assist in defining long-term business objectives, growth strategies, and development plans.

Business Development & Commercial Execution

  • Act as the lead for assigned Business Development projects, from initial scoping to execution support. You will analyze customer needs and leverage competitive benchmarking to develop compelling, tailored technical and commercial solutions.
  • Build complex economic and financial models to structure highly competitive commercial offers. Champion these deals through internal governance, meticulously preparing all documentation required for management approval.
  • Spearhead high-stakes negotiations and finalize contractual agreements. You will ensure every closed deal strictly adheres to mandated profitability targets, legal standards, and core business fundamentals.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to cultivate, nurture, and expand sustainable, long-term relationships with customers.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, ideally within the Industrial Gas or Chemical industry preferably with an Engineering background or a Business/Commercial degree
  • Proven track record of acquiring new accounts and driving strategic growth in a highly competitive environment.
  • Possesses established industrial contacts and a strong understanding of Singapore's manufacturing, chemical, semiconductor, refining sectors.
  • Quick to grasp technical knowledge and translate it into compelling commercial proposals.
  • Conducting market surveys, executing SWOT analyses, and developing complex economic models.
  • Strong understanding of contract fundamentals, with experience reviewing clauses and negotiating favorable terms for high-value deals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, support operations post-sale, and partner effectively with Account Managers.
  • Success-driven, autonomous, and equipped with a strategic mindset suited for a changing business environment.
