Analyzes sales channels, business performance, revenue, and acquisition trends; develops dashboards and reports; designs and calculates sales incentive programs; monitors targets; and presents actionable insights to stakeholders. The role collaborates with Sales, HR, and other business teams, supports strategic decision-making, and applies banking and wealth management industry knowledge to identify optimization and innovation opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Sales Channel Analytics
- Analyze sales performance across various channels to understand acquisition trends and identify high-impact areas.
- Develop channel-specific dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics, such as customer acquisition costs and channel efficiency.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate channel performance, use data insights to recommend strategies for optimizing channel utilization and boosting sales acquisitions.
Sales Incentive design and calculation
- Develop and manage incentive schemes aligned with channel-specific sales goals and overall revenue targets.
- Accurately calculate incentive payouts and ensure timely submission.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of incentive programs and recommend data-driven adjustments to maximize performance.
- Support Sales and HR teams in all incentives related matters.
Business Analytics and Performance Reporting
- Conduct comprehensive business performance analysis, identifying trends and insights to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards to track key metrics related to sales, revenue growth and business performance.
- Monitor business performance against targets and generate insights to inform strategy adjustments.
- Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear, visual and actionable insights.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with business stakeholders, including Sales and other businesses, to understand their analytical needs, provide support, and guide decision-making processes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Interpret data and present findings to stakeholders, making recommendations to enhance business outcome.
Innovation and Best Practices
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the banking and wealth management sectors to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in performance tracking and business analytics. Knowledge of sales channel analytics
- Proven expertise in analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Relevant Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics
- Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of the banking industry, especially in Consumer Business area, covering Deposits, Wealth Management, Card, Loan
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry compliance standards in the banking sector is preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Competencies/Skills
- Proficient in SAS, SQL, Python, R Programming and MS Excel
- Proficient in Business Intelligence tools (Tableau)
- Must be able to solve problem quickly and efficiently
- Strong analytical and communication skills
