As a Business Compliance Officer at OCBC, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the bank's operations are conducted with integrity and in compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders, identify potential risks, and implement effective controls to mitigate them. How you succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry trends. You'll work collaboratively with business units to identify and assess compliance risks, and develop effective controls to manage these risks. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying potential compliance issues and implementing solutions to address them.
What you do
1. Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify potential risks and control gaps
2. Collaborate with business units to develop and implement effective compliance controls and procedures
3. Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance policies and procedures
4. Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure the bank's operations are compliant
5. Develop and maintain compliance reports and dashboards to track key metrics and performance indicators
 

Who you are
- A degree in Law, Business, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in compliance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance
